Administrative Law

Administrative law encompasses laws and legal principles governing the administration and regulation of government agencies. Generally, administrative agencies are created to protect a perceived public interest rather than to protect the rights of an individual. We work with municipal, State, and Federal governmental agencies to protect the rights of our clients when they are involved with the government in personal or business matters. We frequently appear before the following Administrative agencies: the Mississippi Oil and Gas Board, Department of Employment Security, and the Mississippi Public Service Commission.
